StorPool at Dutch Proxmox Day 2026

On September 24, 2026, the Proxmox community heads to Ede, Netherlands for Dutch Proxmox Day, and StorPool will be in the room. Organized by Tuxis, this free, community-driven event has grown into one of the largest Proxmox gatherings in Europe, drawing MSPs, enterprises, government agencies, and educational institutions for a day of practical, no-fluff talks on running Proxmox VE in production.

We’re attending as part of the community, and we’re especially looking forward to one talk on the agenda.

The Session: Efficient HCI with Proxmox VE

Our own Nikolay Tenev will be taking the stage between 11:00 – 12:00 (Europe/Amsterdam) to talk about “Efficient HCI with Proxmox VE: For the World After Hardware Availability.”

The timing of this talk isn’t an accident. 2026 has put real pressure on IT teams: NAND flash and RAM shortages have stretched hardware lead times and driven up costs across the board, right as data demands keep climbing. In that environment, squeezing more out of the servers you already have isn’t a nice-to-have, it’s becoming the difference between shipping projects on schedule and watching them stall in a procurement queue.

That’s exactly the problem Nikolay will dig into. He’ll walk through how pairing Proxmox VE with StorPool Storage lets teams build hyperconverged infrastructure where 85%+ of host resources stay available for virtual machines, rather than being eaten up by the storage layer itself. For anyone weighing how to get more out of a hardware refresh, or how to stretch existing nodes further before their next order finally arrives, this is a session worth carving out time for.

See You in Ede

If you’re attending Dutch Proxmox Day, come find us, we’d love to talk shop about Proxmox, storage, and building efficient infrastructure in a hardware-constrained world.
