On 21 January, TechTarget gave StorPool’s software-defined storage solution a silver award in the Storage System and Application Software category of their annual Storage Products of the Year. StorPool’s primary data storage platform is architected for modern, large-scale cloud infrastructure.
TechTarget chose winners for their Storage Products of the Year based on innovation, performance, ease of integration, ease of use and manageability, functionality, and value. Winners were selected from all products nominated by Informa TechTarget editors in conjunction with industry experts, analysts, and consultants.
TechTarget selected StorPool Storage v21 from among the top data storage and management tools of 2024 for its flexible, cost-effective, high performance, and low latency block storage that runs on industry-standard servers. TechTarget judges noted that StorPool’s performance, low latency, and value were key factors in their decision as well as key enhancements made to the v21 release of the product, for example, the enhanced erasure coding that improves data protection without affecting compute power.
StorPool was one of 12 products that TechTarget selected from 55 entries in four categories: Backup and Disaster Recovery Hardware, Cloud Storage, Diskisk Subsystems, and Storage System and Application Software. A full list of TechTarget’s 23rd annual Products of the Year awards is available here.
