In this report, StorPool presents a testing methodology for evaluating the storage performance of any cloud and compares the performance of block storage offerings of known public clouds – Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Linode, and OVHcloud to Katapult, a StorPool storage based public cloud. Katapult was developed by Krystal, one of the leading web hosting companies in the UK.
